Capital Campaign 2026-2029
A Place
to Belong
Now is the time to give the next generation the same life-changing access to community, friendships, and the outdoor adventure that so many of us had.
Our Goal: $1.65M
That Gallagher Magic
Needed now, more than ever.
For more than half a century, Camp Gallagher has been a place where young people discover who they are and who they can be through adventure, community, friendship, and time outdoors. Today, in a world where teens face rising isolation, mental health challenges, and disconnection from nature, Camp’s role has never been more vital.
On the shores of the South Puget Sound, campers build confidence, practice leadership, and find their community. Camp is the moment a shy kid finds their voice on the water, or a group of strangers becomes something like a family around a fire. It’s the place you go and realize you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.
Why now
“I don’t even have the words to express the joy it brings me to see my oldest son grow and thrive and love Gallagher with his friends as much as I did.”
Why This Moment Matters
Camp Gallagher is growing.
The spaces that shaped so many people’s lives need investment now. Not just for today's campers, but for many generations to come.

Lilliwaup
~$425,000
Lilliwaup sits at the heart of Camp, around what is currently a central fireplace. The vision for Lilliwaup is an open-air shelter that retains the character of being outdoors while shielding campers from the elements, particularly in spring and fall.
Concept rendering
Hurricane Ridge
$395,000
Hurricane Ridge is Camp's kitchen and the heart of its dining program. This investment brings it into compliance, improves the workflow, and ensures it can support a growing program for years to come.
Concept rendering
Sequim
$205,000
Sequim is Camp's all-community gathering site, home to meals, traditions, and the moments campers remember for years. This investment adds weather protection and insulation while keeping its open-air character.

Facilities Care Fund
$100,000
For the long-term stewardship of camp facilities and newly improved spaces.
Annual Fund
$420,000
For sustaining operations and staffing during the campaign period.
A Place
to Grow
Camp has always been a place to gather and grow. From the first summer in 1970, to the first summer back in 2016. Let's reflect on how far we've come, and where we go from here. Our Story

A Place
to Thrive
“Many years, I went up and talked on the last sundown of camp. On my last session as a camper, I ended up crying with the knowledge that I would not be a camper again. But I will forever cherish everything I’ve experienced at Gallagher.”
“I don’t even have the words to express the joy it brings me to see my oldest son grow and thrive and love Gallagher with his friends as much as I did.”
“I loved driving into Camp Gallagher after the kids’ long stay and seeing them make friends for the first time at any camp ever. They wanted to stay!”
